OK, I got two from Costco when on sale. They are so simple and effective. Maybe others have more bells and whistles (that I don’t need), but this one does a great job of filtering dirt and yuck from the air. Even when you think your house is clean, just check the filters and see what’s pulled out of the air. Love it in the bedroom where it keeps air cleaner. I just leave it on auto and presto…it does it’s job quietly. Got a third for my home!

We’ve never owned an air purifier. We purchased this one because we were going to a cabin in the woods that has caused us dripping noses and stinging eyes because of the mildew, mold, pollen, etc. We did not want to spend a lot of money because we would only be gone for two weeks. The Winix C535 worked very hard. The red light was on for a long time(600sqft open space cabin) but then went blue. When we were lysol spray cleaning the light would turn red for a few minutes. Sometimes when we cooked the red light would turn on. We are at the end of the two weeks and we had no allergies, even the musty smell is almost gone. We brought it into our room at night(100sqft) and it would be red for a short time then change to blue. When the lights go out it turns itself off and goes into sleep mode. We had to turn off the auto setting and just use the fan setting with an hour timer. We do not have to run it all night long. It is super quiet. It came with four additional carbon filters. The hepa filter is suppose to last twelve months. Great price and great product- very pleased.

Okay, so the day my air purifier was delivered they were plugged in which was June 27, 2020. The photos will show you the results in just a little over 4 months. We are a pet free, smoke free home.

Perfect Air Purifier! I used it 4 months, before reviewing it. I just changed the main Hepa filter, and was blown away at how much yuk it had in it! The carbon filter I change about once a month, and the washable front filter I clean weekly. This is an awesome unit. For the price, and intense filtering you can’t beat it. I’m not a big fan of the plasmawave, because I’m still not too sure it doesn’t emit ozone. I was getting headaches. So I just shut it off, until I’m not at home, then run it. Machine is quiet, and has a night detected feature. This has helped my allergies, and during covid it gives me more peace of mind, that it’s catching airborne particles. Purchasing another for family.

Splendid value in air purification. Sleek and elegant design. Simple installation of 3 filter system, with a single HEPA filter to replace periodically depending on your sensitivity. The manufacturer recommends yearly, changing charcoal filter quarterly. I would suggest no less often than every 6 months for the HEPA, replacing the charcoals every 6 weeks. I replace my HEPA every 2 months, such are my environmental reactions, the charcoals every few weeks, and vacuum the nylon screen filter as needed. This model comes with remote control so you can have in bedroom or wherever you prefer and NOT even stir from comfort of chair or bed to change the settings. It has remote holder with double-stick tape; i have stuck to the wall next to my pillow so as to adjust speed ad libitum. The filters are expensive it you pay retail, but subscriptions at various vendors can save you about 47% off suggested retail. Google “Winix Filter A 115115” and you can see just how much cheaper to buy Winix filters NOT directly from Winix. But you can call the manufacturer for suggestions of who to subscribe through. I have this model or the 5300 in every room of my home. I’ve been through most name brands some cheaper, some far more expensive Swiss-made machines, and Winix is my favorite for cost-effectiveness.
