**UPDATED** I contacted Amazon directly explaining my issue with the original pair of lights and the made good on the 2-year warranty and sent me a new pair to replace the first set that started failing after just a few months. I consider this good customer service and a deserving of an updated review that redeems my original review. I will hope the new set last longer than the first set. I am adding to my original 1 star rating to 4 stars. Thank you Amazon!

I’ve been meaning to write my review on this item order for quite a while now. In Sept I was shopping for lights to mount to the bull bar tabs on my front bumper on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. After much research and comparison over a few weeks, I decided to go with these lights. I really wanted that ‘high light output’ in the front, without having to mount a huge pair of round lights that generate heat. Seeing it was widely applied to Jeeps was a bonus.

I was initially attracted to the features listed below and impressive range of different applications

-Adjustable mounting brackets that can easily adjust, making it easier changing light direction.

I was almost tempted to get 2 pairs

When the lights arrived, I wasn’t aware a power wire/switch kit wasn’t included with the lights, so had to order one, no big deal. Once I got everything wired, mounted & working, I was very happy with the amount of light output plus ease of bracket adjustment.

The following timeline is my experience with the lights during the following few months after I received the lights –
– Days (45-60) – Noticed all the mounting bracket hardware (nuts & bolts) starting to rust and look junky.
– Days (60-90) – Started noticing water droplets collecting on the inner sealed lens surface of both lights
– Days (180-200) – both lights showing significant signs of corrosion spreading on outer surfaces in multiple areas.

From the statement IP67 rating the Led light was safe to assume they would be waterproof, dustproof and anticorrosive, what was listed in the features. The pics attached to my review should justify my review, I can’t where to contact the seller so I would like to request a warranty replacement, happy to send these back and change my review if the 2-year warranty statement is actually true

18W 4″ spot bars: Great lights. They pack some lumens for their size. Put them on my ’02 Tacoma bumper as fog/driving lights wired in with my high beams. They’re not Rigid or Baja but they are a small fraction of the cost.
Will keep review updated over time.

[09/18 update: Still going strong, the hardware is showing corrosion, lights working great.]

I have used or tested and reviewed the following Nilight LED lights:

–2PC 27W Round Flood: work ok, great price but the 18W 4″ Flood bars throw and disperse light better and seem just as bright.
–2PC 27W Round Spot: don’t bother. Had them next to the 27W round floods and could not see any difference.
–32″ 180W Bar Spot Flood Combo (Double-row LED, Straight): so far it’s awesome. great flood at sides and a great bright spot. awesome for the money.
–2PC 18W 4″ Flood Bar: work great. highly recommend for bright light for less than +-50 yards.
–2PC 36w 6.5″ Flood Bar: work ok, had a real bright “halo” effect to the light dispersement, I find for the money the 18W 4″ flood bars disperse light better. We went with the 18W 4″ flood bars over these for a 6×6 Polaris Ranger UTV.
–2 piece NI18A-5 5.3″ double-row Flood Bar: fairly bright broad flood dispersement, very flat wide beam, good for fog/driving lights. Seem just as bright as 36w 6″ bars.

If you ever get a Nilight sent to you that’s missing any pieces or hardware just get in touch with Amazon or Nilight and they’ll take care of it.

Just installed these the other day and they are BRIGHT. I’m using them for the back of my F150 to illuminate things behind me while in reverse. The lights seem sturdy and well-built. I did add a bead of silicone where the lens meets the housing for good measure. Wiring was a breeze, and I used heat shrink butt-connectors without issues into my existing reverse light harness. My only gripe was that the side screws which hold the light to the bracket are a tad short. Albeit that there’s 4 of them per light, I will add a bit of thread locker to each. Also, they did not thread so easily into the light housing. One of them I believe ended up cross-threading itself, but still seems secure as of right now. Otherwise, I’m mostly happy with this purchase. The price was fair, and they definitely are bright. Will update if I run into any issues during the coming winter season.

*update 2/26/19.. one light has stopped working and has been flickering.. kinda mad because these lights are only 2 months old. Hoping the manufacturer will make good on the warranty.. but kind of getting the run around from them and amazon*
