I placed an order for what I thought was a 12 pack of pens and only received ONE pen. For $6 and some change, I would not have ever considered paying this much for a pen. I know the picture only shows one pen but the description clearly says 12 pack. I am disappointed with this order.

I am a nurse and a total neat freak when it comes to my charting! I loooove a great fine point pen, and the added bonus of it actually feeling comfortable in my hand is a HUGE plus after hours of using it! I have been a longtime fan of the RSVP pens from Pentel and love having a box of my own in my bag because let’s face it….my fellow nurses will understand….our pens get stolen on the daily!! Smooth ballpoint and no smudge ink! Gotta love it!

These are my absolute favorite pens! When I saw I could buy 12 of them on Amazon I had to and definitely cheaper than buying packs in store. Well I am a nurse and have been caught numerous times with these pens in emergent situations stuck without a pen because it just stops writing. They explode in the back of the pen and even though brand new, full of ink, completely unusable. I figured the first batch was faulty so ordered another and just got through 2 shifts, went through 3 of these pens and ended the shift having to use someone elses pen because all 3 I brought did this. I don’t understand. I’ve never had an issue(nor do the nurses at my work who buy them) ever had problems with the two packs bought at an actual store.

I bought these purple RSVP pens to use as favors for my friend’s bridal shower, and they were perfect. The bride’s favorite color is purple. I rolled up some shiny purple foil paper and inserted it inside each pen. I also made some for the bride with black and white paper. The shower guests could use the pens for writing their answers to games, and they each got to take a pen home.

Best pens ever. Been using them for years, and will keep on using them as long as I can get them. The ink dries immediately, I’ve never had one get gloppy or leak, and the .07 one gives me the fine point for writing while still being solid and perfectly readable. They’re the perfect diameter for my hand, and since I write a lot, that counts for me, no writers cramps. Love them!

I was looking for this pens everywhere. About two years ago I found two pens of this brand in my sister’s bag and, well, borrowed it, and used it for a very long time until I lost the first one and finished the second one. Finally, I found it on Amazon.
It’s very long lasting, by the way, as any ballpoint pen. And also what makes this one special is that the lines are darker and thinner than other ballpoint pens I’ve tried. Well, it’s not as dark as a gel pen, and not as thin as a liner but unlike gel and liner, ballpoint pens last much much longer. Great product. I don’t see the point of buying any other brand ever again.

This has been my pen of choice since college (when one pen could could easily last me two semesters!) and I have continued using them ever since. To start, the grip is fantastic; it’s comfortable, easy to hold and really keeps your hand from cramping on longer projects. Especially for someone who holds their pens very tightly (like me), this pen doesn’t leave your fingers feeling tired and it doesn’t bleed through to the other side of the paper. And it writes so smoothly! I even think my handwriting improves when I use this pen because of how well it glides… One last shout-out for this amazing writing utensil is that I’ve never had one of these pens leak or explode (and to have a pen leak in your purse is a tragedy) so they are the ONLY pen I trust to put in my purse.

First things first- make sure you buy with the description and not with the picture. I thought I was buying a dozen black pens but instead, bought the mixed assortment. The colors in my box were 5 black, 2 red, 2 blue, 1 green, 1 pink, 1 purple. I don’t know if this is the standard assortment or if they change it up with each box but thought I would share nonetheless.
The 1mm lines write nicely on padded paper but will glob, so left-handers beware. Still, they’re solid distinguishable colors in regards to ballpoint ink.
These days, I write mostly with the Pilot Acroballs but, for the price and durability, these are worth their price to just have as spares in your car or garage. I still have one from a batch I bought over 20 years ago and it still writes. Not bad.

I love the fine point and the color. What I experienced was pooling of the ink at the tip making big blobs of ink on the page which smeared if not allowed to dry long enough before turning a page. And it made a mess when writing between closely printed lines. But the worst was the bleeding outward on the page after a few months. I used this pen on the thinner pages of my Bible. What a mistake! The bleeding was so profound that in places I can barely read the original printed words. I will have to replace my Bible and rewrite my notes and definitions into another Bible. This was a costly pen. No other fount or pen has done this to any of my Bibles in my life. So use at your own risk. It will cost you!

Some people in the word are a little on the weird side and like to write with certain types of pens… and I am one of those people. I am very picky about the type of pen that I am going to use. I am a clinical data manager at my job and we have to document data that we do entry for on a log, and sometimes, depending on the data, there are multiple lines that are really close together. These pens have the best fine tip that I have ever used with a pen and I am able to enter all my data entered on the lines without making it look smudged or messy. I will absolutely buy these again!
