I opened this bottle today and it looks like water is floating on the top of the solid.i pressed the pump and it came out all liquid. I opened the pump and saw the product was totally rotten. I have used covergirl in the past but not sure what’s wrong with this product. I tried to mix the ingredients and applied it on my face.By end of the day i can see my skin breaking out. very disappointed with this purchase. Had ordered 2 bottles but never knew it would turn out this way.

Well, I will tell you like this, every single time I wear it, which is since I received in the mail… strangers have complimented me on my makeup…stopped me..in stores at that..(That has never really happened with exception to friends before) — but strangers? Ah, NO! – Plus just so you know I have a FEW foundations – okay I’ll admit I have a tendency to collect them. Not proud of it- but I do. I have high-end ones that I will let get dusty using this new JEM!! Way to go Covergirl!!! It goes on fantastic, no issues (I use a MAC primer) a Morphe M439 rounded stippling brush and a dampened beauty sponge to further perfect in my problem areas and it’s beautiful until I take it off. I do use a setting spray and I set some areas with setting powder. It’s totally a pleasure to apply and just great to work with – I cannot say enough about it. It’s a joy to do your makeup if you’re anything like me and your foundation is a slam hit – all the rest is pie!

This product dries down darker, AND oxidizes after a few hours of wear. Even with primer, setting powder, and setting spray (and multiple combinations those three setting techniques). It also isn’t transfer proof, nor does it stay matte in hot or humid conditions.

Its hard to find the perfect color that matches your perfect color but this is it for me. This is my go to everyday all day makeup!
Will purchase regularly!
Thank you !

At this point I wonder why do I even try to find foundation that is actually flattering for my skin. Mind you I have no acne nor any major skin condition. I just have medium to dry skin and I don’t love the look of pores on my cheeks so I bought this “matte” foundation.
The shade is alright. I am a natural beige with all my foundation so the issue isn’t there. I thought this, with the “tru blend face primer dry skin” would suffice to make my skin look more healthy and offer coverage for my pores. I was sadly mistaken. It offers minimal coverage and when I tried to pack it up to cover my pores and some white heads on my nose, it looked cakey and my laugh lines became much more prominent and made my skin look 20 years older.
I think I might just give up foundation all together since I can’t afford the high end stuff and the “affordable” brands don’t have the necessary quality.

I saw the commercials and wanted to try this product , especially the part amount being non transferable. I wear Dermablend which gives full coverage but gets on everything. I found my match of Trublend by watching YouTube videos and using the wet and dry swatches on Amazon.
I went a little lighter since it does dry darker . I found my perfect match D50. It’s a beautiful shade on me and is doesn’t come off. I touch my face and then touch my white walls .. no makeup on my walls, , clothes, hands etc… YEA!!!!!
The con for me is that trublend is not a full coverage make up and I have to use about 4 layers to get the same coverage as get with 1 layer of Dermablend. The bottle is small and using that much makeup I used the first bottle in one week.
I still like the product and ordered 2 more bottles.nI definitely recommend Trublend by covergirl.

I must say before exploring and researching these shades that Covergirl Matte Foundation had to offer, I already had my heavy hitter base line with MAC products. I currently have NW58 Powder (darkest shade), NW45 Powder (under eye concealment blender shade) and NW58 Foundation (I love). I always used powder growing up because I thought foundation was for older people and Fashion Fair was the only brand that went further than other companies in black women’s complexion at the time. Even then however, not far enough. I’ve only been wearing foundation now for a year and I love it! And I’m in my forties! Now we’re seeing many brands exploring and expanding into darker tones. What made me want to try this brand was because of the matte finish within the foundation. I was definitely intrigued! Now the make up of my skin is very complex. I have oily skin overall but also damaged skin. Very flaky in areas. Dry patches. When skin flakes off, it causes my skin to become discolored. I have darker pigments around my smile lines. Mix of both on my chin. When looking at my photo, you may feel you may not see a difference between the before and after or still see my damaged skin. But I NEVER had smooth, supple skin. So for me, I see a difference with this foundation. And this is just the foundation applied! Not a full workup with powder coverage on top. Just wanting to see how much could this foundation cover of my blemishes and pigment discoloration. It makes me pretty darn happy!! Now I will say my MAC Foundation covers wayyy better than this one by far! But we’re talking $33 vs. $8. I now will definitely use my Covergirl for daily use and MAC for my special occasions! I will also give Covergirl props on the pump action design. They have MAC beat with the easy flow accessible design. Not being just a hole for an opening that you have to repeatedly blot on a foundation applicator in hopes too much won’t suddenly ooze out. (I HATE that, so I recognize this great feature!) I also bought Loreal that I haven’t tried yet (may send back). I am pleased with the coverage of my blotchy skin. I’ve already bought another one for my 85 yr old MOTHER who’s beautiful skin is same color but blemish free! I also purchased D20 for my under eye concealment blender. Thank you for sharing your photos which gave me the courage to try this foundation. Maybe someone with complex skin like mine may be willing to try and see what it can do for them!

Just got it today. Tried it on. Love it. I’ve been having issues with cover ups staying on in -25c weather; they always just smudged off on toques or just get spotty.
This brand seems to do the trick I need! Just cause we live in Canada doesn’t mean we can’t be pretty popsicles💁🏼♀️
Blended awesome. And doesn’t rub off on toques! Cause let’s get real.. we all get the make up line on hats and it’s gross looking lol. Not cute.
I was nervous about the colour as I couldn’t tell which would works best but i guess I made good judgment for once. Can’t make good judgments on men but I can on my
Make up

I took a chance ordering Shade L20 sight unseen and was so thrilled to discover that it is an excellent match for my skin tone! I’ve always avoided drugstore foundation because being pale, I’ve found that most are too orange or simply too dark for me.
I prefer a lighter coverage, so I have been sheering it out with a sponge to apply and find that a little goes a long way. It seems pretty build-able, so I think if you do like a fuller coverage, you could achieve that with a bit more work. Once dried down, it’s very comfortable on the skin. I did not notice oxidation but I’ve seen other reviews complaining about this.
I happen to be super oily so I’m very excited about the oil-controlling properties of this foundation. I don’t think it will live up to it’s 12-hour-wear claim but for the price I’m not going to complain about that. However, if you have drier skin you may want to pass on this as I could see it being too chalky.
I would give it five stars, except the initial smell is really odd and kind of gross. It goes away quickly but it’s pretty strong at first!

I finally tried this Covergirl Trublend Matte Made Liquid Foundation in the shade T60 and I am pleased. Also, this is the very first time I am actually trying a Covergirl foundation and liking it. I am from the Caribbean so selecting a shade wasn’t that difficult for me as I referred to Youtube to view the various swatches of all the T’s and the D’s shades and selected T60, T70 and T80 as my purchase for me.
T60, T70 and T80 are very close and similar in shades, all three (3) shades will blend with my complexion but I love T60 the most however T80 is like my second skin, identical to my complexion.
This foundation goes on smoothly and its also medium coverage however; its buildable to a give full coverage matte finish which I do prefer. Btw, I have oily skin so I make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer and a mattifiying primer which works well with this foundation.
This is an honest review, (I paid for my foundation, did not get any free) hoping it will help someone or anyone that is interested in it.

I absolutely LOVE this foundation, my Lancome, Bobbi brown and Estee Lauder foundations have taken back seat to this baby! Get your hands on this foundation. You’ll thank me!

NOT Transferproof or even transfer resistant. I returned it. Gets all over a white t-shirt even after it sets for an hour. Sweats everywhere. Just no – no- no! . Also, it oxidizes about 3 shades. If your going to buy it anyway, get it 3 shades lighter.
