Lovely wood works great as lap top easel. However the bolt came loose and I had to re-bolt it and if it comes apart again I will have to glue it as well.

Just adding to my review now that I have had this desk longer. It’s true the legs are not long enough too sit with comfortably however what is worse is the fact that this has mosly fallen apart and is now in the garbage less then a year of purchase. Things just last at least a year after purchase should they not? I would not recommend this too a friend, put it that way. Sorry.

A screw fell out as I was lifting it out of the box, before it was even fully unpacked. As I was screwing it back in it tightened, but ever stopped turning; if I want it to actually remain solid, I will need to use wood glue. (Searching other reviews, screws falling out is something of a regular occurrence, sometimes followed by the desk falling apart less than a year later.) As others have noted, the legs are also quite short; my fiance can’t move under it without shifting it around, so I’m hosed. The drawer is also disappointing. It’s cool that it has added functionality, but it is very loose, and just flops around. They could have put in the same magnet latch that the main stand uses, so it doesn’t flop around.
I’m going to be processing a return as soon as I’m done this review.

Absolutely love it. It’s good quality. I actually bought it so I could paint and draw while watching TV and it works great for that. My cat likes that there is a spot for him to lay. 😂

There are a lot of conflicting reviews about this product, so here’s my two cents. I really like this lap desk, it’s perfect for eating snacks or working on my laptop from my bed. The whole thing is overall pretty sturdy, I had no problems upon its arrival.
The folding legs don’t lock into place but they are sturdy enough to not flop around so it isn’t a problem. They aren’t very tall however, so size of your legs where you want the desk to be will make a difference, for example I can’t cross my legs and have it still standing without my legs lifting it off the bed.
The left side of the horizontal part is held flat by a magnet on that piece and the main frame so it also doesn’t flop around in the horizontal position. It also adjusts to four different levels of inclination, as shown in the picture.
The drawer is rather small, but that’s to be expected for a folding flat desk like this. The second picture shows the drawer and a remote for size, which is just barely too big to fit into the drawer in the position shown, however it does fit diagonally in the drawer. The drawer is kind of loose and if you’re carrying the desk around in a way other than its usual horizontal position, you should be careful to not leave anything in the drawer because it’ll probably fall open and drop your stuff out of it. The drawer itself won’t fall out of its place though, once it reaches the end of its track it stays there. For me this isn’t a big deal because I wasn’t buying this for the drawer 🙂

– Good quality and attractive finish. It’s definitely one of the better looking lap tables available on amazon. I got it in walnut and I love the colour.
– Nice functional features, I like the ledge at the bottom and the tilt option, works great for holding laptops and big books. I don’t use the drawer much, but it might be good for napkins or pens.
– Fold away neatly for easy storage

– Initially the one I received had a scratch on the surface that looked painted over, so I exchanged it without a problem.
– I agree with some of the reviewers that the legs are a bit short. It’s not a problem for me since I’m pretty small, but I can’t have a thick blanket on my legs and still have table over my legs. The height up to the bottom of edge of the table is 15cm, just to give you an idea.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase.

I loveee this table. I use it when I meditate to rest my books on and stuff, I really love it. Very nice quality wood and it works really well. I would not recommend this for a breakfast in bed type of table, because the legs aren’t long enough to go over your legs, it is more of a table you put in front of you, not on you.
When I received it the packaging was a bit broken, so that could be improved but it wasn’t the manufacturer’s fault. The table is a perfect size for a lap top with a drink or an open book with a pencil case, etc. Good size, good product, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a mini table.

I was SO stoked when I got this! It’s the perfect size and height for what I needed it for.. however it broke after 2 days of having it. I should have listened to all the other reviews about the poor craftsmanship. The underside was all scratched up upon arrival, I thought I’d ignore that, I could care less about aesthetic, for me, it was all about function. After using it the first time, I noticed there was no way to lock the legs into place, but I thought I’d look past that and just be extremely delicate with it. You have to either keep both legs closed and lay it flat or keep them open and make sure that both sides are all the way open or else it falls over and whatever is on top falls off. After literally TWO days of very VERY light use I opened the legs so that I could use it and the frame on the right side popped off entirely. That specific piece of wood was all that holds the right leg into position while it’s in the standing position. So now instead of the leg opening and pivoting just a little over 90 degrees (to the standing position) the right side only closes and pivots 180 degrees. Basically I spent $20.69 on a slab of wood with a drawer. And the drawer also has no way of staying closed. It’s very loose, I’m kind of surprised that it stays in at all.
Upon further inspection as I’m writing the review the screws in both legs are barely in there and need to be tightened. The nails holding the table together are about the size and strength of sewing needles. It looks like someone attempted to put wood glue on one side of where the frame broke but not on the other side. On the part of the table that you can tilt up, the 3 hinges are ridiculously flimsy. It feels like if you tilt it forwards too far and allow all the weight of the wood to weigh on the hinges the hinges look like they’re going to rip out of the wood.
No offence to the seller, but this is the worst quality item I’ve ever bought off of Amazon. I was really looking forward to this desk and was more than willing to look past a few imperfections. But after 2 days of light use it’s pretty much a slab of wood that tilts and has a drawer. For the week I was waiting for this to come in the mail, I used a cardboard tray that originally held 12 boxes of cup of noodle as a little mini desk and that thing lasted 5 days longer and the only reason it didn’t last longer, is because my boyfriend threw it away thinking it was trash..
If you are thinking about buying this, consider a sturdy piece of cardboard first.. no joke..

Very nice.. Serves the purpose.. But it’s so delicate that even a slight pressure on anything would break the table.. But I like the table so much, it’s so classy and clean.. I would keep it as I don’t use it so hard that I would break it..

I think improvements have been made since the first reviews were posted. The quality is fantastic and the inner drawer dimensions are larger. My brand new mess o’ #2 pencils fits perfectly in addition to a bunch of my various pens and notepad and eyeglass wipes
Excellent! Great price for a well-made quality product. Frankly, I was hesitant to see what I got after reading some of the reviews here, but this is fabulous. This thing is tight – no wiggles, no looseness, all hardware is straight, true and tight, no loose joints, no sharp edges.
1) The finish is flawless – no scratches, dings or flaws in the wood surface anywhere (and I checked this thing over like a dermatologist looking for skin cancer)
2) I’m a fat gal (225 lbs) and this clears my charmingingly chubby thighs while on the bed with zero problem, even room to move my knees up and down for circulation. I can even cross my ankles without disturbing this table. Yes, I have really fat thighs and
3) The drawer inner dimensions are 5.3125″ front to back x 7.4375 side to side x 1 inch deep
4) There is an adjustable angle part of the tabletop of 4 angles in addition to flat
5) The flip-up side has a nice wood bar to stop your book/tablet/laptop from sliding off into your lap when the surface is inclined
6) The immobile portion of the tabletop measures 7.5 x 13.25 front to back
7) Every single piece of the wood is stained! Yes, even the underside!
The only thing close to a downside is that this is so purty and well made that I can’t bear to paint and decoupage it, lol! *sarcasm*
BOTTOM LINE: This Lap Desk is FABULOUS!

La table est belle mais l’espace entre les pattes est vraiment petit. Doit donc être utilisé déposé sur les genoux, en équilibre.
Deux montants se sont décollés seulement à les saisir. Pas bien grave. On va les coller.
L’apparence est très belle et finalement elle fait une belle table de nuit près du tatami.
