I have been wearing these shoes for years and they are awesome. I wear put a pair every 9 months or so. Can’t get them @ Reebok Canada anymore and Amazon was the only place I could find them. Too bad?

This is advertised as extra wide, that’s why I bought it. I didnt know until after I wore the sneakers that they are NOT extra wide. They aren’t wide. They are regular. I can return them because I wore them for 10 minutes. I wont order from them again.

This is a very solid, well built and comfortable shoe perfect for long walks and an excellent value for the price. The only con is that they are quite heavily built and hot in summer temperatures. Still, a very good product which from the looks of it construction will wear well over time.

These shoes are simply divine! They are tough, comfortable, and make walking long distances very enjoyable. I do not write reviews on products until I have used them for a considerable time. I’ve had these shoes for a over a month and have put over three hundred miles of various terrain beneath them. They’ve held up VERY good and still look almost new. These shoes are a quality product!

This is not extra wide shoes. Disappointed. Box came damaged. Have to now organise a box to return these wrong size shoes. Extremely poor service from Amazon.

Absolutely worth $60 or so. I have used this shoe in white and black since the original DMX Walk shoe came on the market. I’m pretty sure the first version had the British Union Jack flag on it; mid 1980’s? Now we are at version 7. Great shoe for me. I use them for everyday wear for any time that I don’t need an Oxford or uniform boot or as a sub for a loafer. Now that I’m retired, I use DMX about 90% of the time. It’s durable, plainly stylish, comfortable. The only fit problem I’ve ever had is occasionally I get a pair that the right shoe heel fits a bit loosely. Maybe that’s because I left part of my right heel near Hill 10 in South Vietnam in 1969. The box on this latest purchase is marked MADE IN VIETNAM.

These Reebok Men’s Walk Ultra are great!
The only problem I can see that someone might have is a balance/stability issue because of the air bubble down the center of the sneaker. It is great for cushioning every step you take, and after a short adjustment period, I got used to it and really like it. Walking on air! Do you have bad feet, knees, hips, back?…walking in these will definitely help!
I’ve been wearing Reebok for many years. They fit my feet perfectly, last a long time, offer lots of different models for specific usage, good cushioning, and always at a reasonable price!
    I recommend them.

I’d like to add to the various inputs about size. I just received my 14 4E extra-wides. The width size is not printed on the underside of tongue with other size info, but it is printed on the underside of the inserts (see further comments below about the inserts) and really high-lighted on the box. I’ve had foot problems and have been wearing Brooks Addictions for many years–but they are hard to get in my size now, and they are very expensive (120+).

Compared to Brooks, I find these very similar in size including width. I have to remove the insert in the Addiction (it is removable) to make room for the leather inserts that I need and I did the same to my DMXs. The DMX inserts are sort of glued down, but they can be removed easily.

Just took my second walk, and it went very well. Of course I cannot talk about wear, but we’ll see how they hold up.

I’m a big Reebok walking shoe fan and this shoe didn’t disappoint. It’s stylish enough without being gaudy and having a wide foot it doesn’t make you look like you’re wearing clown shoes. The fit is very comfortable with a nice cushion as you walk. I think you can’t go wrong if you have a wide foot and like to wear a walking shoe. It gets more comfortable the longer you wear it, allow about two weeks for a good break in period but it’s still comfortable right out of the box.

bought reebok 4e width some years ago in America, a great buy. amazon finally got some at a price (£50+) that doesn’t feel like I’m being penalised for for having feet like dinner plates. anywho bought 2pr black/brown, i live in hope.
ps these were delivered from America

It’s basically the same shoe I’m replacing but the air chambers of the old version are replaced with memory foam. It feels a bit rounded under the ball of the foot but after a few minutes the foam compressed and feels better. It may run a little smaller but my feet may have filled out a little over the years.

I’ve been purchasing Reebok’s DMX walking shoes for the last twenty+ years. The last pair seemed to be a lesser quality so was open to trying something different. My buddy at church raved about his Brooks running shoes so I ordered a pair at $140. They were terrible! It was like a stick jabbing my foot at the arch…very uncomfortable. Sent them back for a refund then ordered their walking shoe…another $140. No cushion at all on the heel, felt terrible. Sent them back. Then ordered this latest version of Reebok’s DMX walking shoe…wow, Reebok’s got this one right, back to comfort and quality. Nothing cheesy about the construction and three times more comfortable than the Brooks shoes everyone’s raving about for, more than, half the price. I turned around and ordered two more pair for the future…they’re that good. FWIW: both manufacturers Brooks & Reebok’s are manufactured in Viet Nam. At least it’s not China but come on…bring jobs home to the USA!
