Great for what it is. I needed an air gap with a matte black finish to match the faucet and soap dispenser, this matched perfectly.
I’ve only had it for a week so hopefully the finish lasts and doesn’t chip away

I have 3 holes in my granite counter top from an old faucet set. Bought this & a Moen faucet with soap dispenser. I made sure to order all Moen & all SPOT RESISTANT STAINLESS STEEL! I dont have it attached to the dishwasher line–but it looks good & does the job–fills the hole & looks better than a flat plate would. Im a happy camper!!

I bought this because I wanted an air gap to match the finish on the faucet/soap dispenser I got. It matches and serves its purpose as air gap. I don’t like the white rim that shows at the bottom. You can see in my photo. The handyman that installed it also left a black rim that was there from previous item installed there (which also bothers me, but has nothing to do with this product). Other air gaps that I have seen fit over the white rim on the install nut. It’s easy to install, but I had a handyman do it since he was also installing a faucet at the same time, and I am just not gonna lay on my back and kill my neck trying to get in behind the sink 🙂

I bought this to match my oil rubbed bronze moen fixtures – the cap is plastic and does not match the rest of the fixture’s color. It’s close but what’s the point in buying Moen if the color doesn’t match.
Also, at least in my case, the length of the threading doesn’t go down long enough to secure the nuts on both ends so it took myself and my plumber to get it installed.

The spotless stainless air gap cover is a perfect match to the Moen spotless stainless faucet, which was the only reason to buy this particular air gap. It also includes a lower ring to cover the air gap base so no white plastic shows above the countertop. Otherwise, the rest of the air gap is just what you would find in any store. At least the cap appears to be actual spotless stainless steel as opposed to fake metal on plastic, which I guess is the reason for the big cost.

After 6 months of our dishwasher not draining and also taking hours to complete a cycle we were on the verge of replacing it. I did a quick search and realized the ‘air gap’ is what we needed to get the disposal to stop flushing water back into the dishwasher and blocking the line.
Install was about 20 minutes including drilling a hole through our sink and now the dishes come out sparkling and dry.

This is a good quality, the metal finish top is slightly thin walled but it matches the faucet of the same finish perfectly which is exactly what we wanted.
