I have a hard time buying clothes on Amazon, but this one worked well! I am 5’3” and about 115lbs.
Pros-
-Great fabric! Stretch cotton. Enough stretch to be form fitting, but breathable and comfortable. Stretch, but still feels like cotton and not that shiny swimsuit material.
-Stripes line up! This is an issue for me with striped shirts. It drives me nuts when the lines at the neck and bottom hem are angled.
-Length is long enough to avoid constant tugging, but not tunic length.
-I washed it upon arrival and air dried it. It did not lose shape and did not shrink.
Cons:
-None are immediately apparent. I will update if I find any issues.

This is the most perfect shirtnive ever owned. It has a great neck line that hides my bra straps but will show off a cute sports bra. You can easily wear this to work the gym beach anywhere is super amazing. It’s lightweight but not sheer. The blend of fabric doesn’t fade. There is nowhere this short can’t be worn. It’s a bit longer so great with trouser work pants or yoga. I’m obsessed now.

I really expected to love this top. The fabric was soft and I love the look of boat neck tops and 3/4 sleeves. but this top had kind of an odd fit and is way too long on my petite stature. For reference I am 5’3″ and 116 lbs with a 36DD chest and usually a true medium in US sizing on most women’s knit tops. I ordered a medium and it was a bit tight in the chest, but I am used to that. When choosing a size I often have to weigh out the option of having shoulders that hang or a bit of pull in the chest area. I have narrow shoulders to begin with so I usually choose the latter. I liked the fabric, neckline and sleeve length, but it wasn’t love due to the length. I tried pulling it up and adjusting it, but there was still too much fabric and ruching throughout the torso. Tall gals will probably appreciate the length. I will try it on with a pair of jeans to see if it works better and update my review if anything has changed.
Review Update:
I love the quality of Amazon Essentials but have learned many of their lines run a bit larger. I knew this top had a lot of potential so this time I ordered the Amazon Essentials Women’s Slim-Fit 3/4 Sleeve Boatneck T-Shirt in a size small and had a completely different experience.
I’m wearing the size medium with a pencil skirt and the size small with jeans.
Big difference!
The size small fits my 5’3″, 116 lb, 36DD chest perfectly with no pulling or stretching at the top. The armholes are placed where they are supposed to be on my frame and this time the boatneck fits my narrow shoulders without exposing my bra straps. It doesn’t become an off-the-shoulder look, which is sometimes an issue with this neckline when the top is too large.
The 3/4 sleeves end just below my elbows, and they are narrow enough to stay in place if I want to pull them up higher.
When I have this T-shirt pulled down the length is slightly below my hips, but I just pull it up a bit, and it’s the perfect length on my shorter torso. That means taller gals will be pleased as well.
The fabric is soft and well suited for the warmer Florida climate in which I live. It’s thin, but not see-through when wearing it.
The quality is outstanding, and the boatneck neckline gives this T-shirt an elevated casual look that is fun and flattering. Amazon Essentials hit it out of the park once again! I absolutely love and highly recommend this classic wardrobe staple.

I’m 5’6″, 155 lbs, 36D, broadshouldered and hourglass shaped, and bought this in burgundy size M. I love it, the material is soft, its a great length and best of all the cut makes my broad shoulders an asset to my boobs instead of a detraction, wish I’d discovered it sooner. I’ll be buying more for sure.
I also really appreciate how uniform amazon essentials sizing is, I’ve bought so many shirts in size M now and they’re all correct!

Not sure $14 is the right price for this. I should’ve paid $10. It really is a basic boat neck tee with 3/4 sleeve. Its 58% cotton, so comfy. I got a black medium and I’m 5’4” with curves. It fits nicely but the material is see-through when stretched and is kinda thin. It’ll do for now but it’s nothing great. Will update if it lasts more than 5 washes.

It is very comfortable and follows my curves nicely. For reference my measurements are about 36D-31/32-44. It was suggested I order a large, but after reading the other reviews I decided on a medium. I am happy I did as it is form fitting but not too snug. It is thin and does show lines from your bra and pants buttons and such, but that could be remedied with a camisole. I feel it could be dressed up or down. I love this top so much I bought another black and will probably buy the wine color.

Good quality top and nice soft fabric. It has been washed once so far on 60 degrees – no stretching, colour running or twisting of seams. I usually wear size 12 to 14 tops. My bust is 40” waist 32” and this top fits me just right.

I liked the texture but it’s to cheap quality for $14 it’s like forever 21 quality you can only get a couple uses out of this before it goes loose. I would pay maybe $7 for this.. if that. Wouldn’t purchase again

I had such high hopes. I had searching for this exact type of shirt (boat neck, 3/4 sleeved, b&w striped) for a very long time. I had bought others since this one was unavailable for so long, but they were all crap and got sent back. When I saw this one was finally available i jumped on buying it. When it arrived, it was great!! The fit, sizing, and material are are sooo wonderful… and if I had gotten a solid color, I would have fallen in love and bought more… but I got the stripes… and the stripes don’t line up at the neck or the sleeves. REALLY frustrating because I thought I finally found the b&w striped shirt that I had been waiting for. So, for solid colors, I’d say this shirt is amazing and you should definitely buy it… for stripes, don’t waste your time or money.
For reference, I’m about 5’3, approx 155-160, normally a size US10, and I got the Medium, which fit perfectly.
