I would recommend the Bose Bluetooth speaker to anyone. It easily connect with my phone and the sound on it is phenomenal! Great things DO come is small packages.

I own a lot of JBL & Sony speakers and i will say… the Bose is SUPERIOR. This little speaker sounds so much bigger than it is. It’s truly impressive and worth EVERY penny. This has now become my favorite speaker and i plan to use it everywhere. If you are in between a JBL/SONY or anything else for this price point, do yourself a favor and get the BOSE! I pronise you wont regret it.

I rarely post reviews, but the Bose Soundlink Flex deserves a good review. I took a gamble with this as I thought I wanted the Sonos Roam, but I’m so glad I went with the Bose as the sound is fuller, gets louder, and you can slightly feel a little bass punch in your chest (it’s still a Bluetooth speaker, so don’t think it’ll rattle your lungs). If you’re thinking about getting the Bose Soundlink Revolve/Revolve+, don’t bother and get two of these instead – a stereo pair of Flexes will sound so much better and is $30 cheaper than one Revolve+. My mom listened to it and she was so enamored by it that I had to get her one for Christmas. You will not regret this purchase and you might find yourself wanting a few more! Heads up, there’s one speaker and one radiator for bass, there’s no L/R separation – it still sounds great as a singular speaker, but you will love having a stereo pair. My goal was to live by the following credo: All Bose, All the Time. I have some sort of Bose speaker in almost every room. And, I like to start my day with my favorite music. When I learned about the SoundLink Flex, I had to get it to replace the bluetooth speaker that was previously in the shower. Don’t get me wrong. That speaker was fine, but it wasn’t a Bose. The Flex is the perfect size to fit on the shower shelf and it sounds fantastic – even with the water running! I like to sing along in the shower and the mid-range vocals are strong and clear. There are certainly portable speakers that are less expensive, but I believe there are portable speakers that are better than this Soundlink Flex Portable Bluetooth Speaker.

I was so excited when I heard this speaker was coming out and the fact you could stereo pair with a second device for seamless left and right separation. However, after buying a second device for this purpose, it is anything but seamless. Whether you use the Bose Connect app to pair them or do it manually, it will take several attempts before it actually works (speakers will disconnect from each other at random) and sadly, audio cuts out between both which is very noticeable and happens frequently. I decided to look at RTINGS.com’s speaker review for this and saw that regardless if you have an iOS or Android, the out-dated Bluetooth version that it uses (4.2) has high latency for both which is very disappointing. I took both of them back and bought my first JBL speaker (Xtreme 2) and it’s phenomenal. What I find interesting is although it’s the same Bluetooth version (4.2), it works incredibly well. That said, the Xtreme 2 was released in 2018 and the Soundlink Flex was just two months ago.. Bose if you’re listening… you’re slacking. It’s almost 2022 and you’re using Bluetooth software from 2014 in not one, but in ALL of your products. A brand with it’s strong reputation and high price tag should offer a much better user experience for their customers.
