sad how quickly my daughter grew out of these. Way way too small. I hate how baby clothing companies do this. My daughter is at the 51% tile. Wish the dye was organic as well. The sleeves are long but too tight. Considering I ordered more than three months bigger that her 🙁

Bought these because I liked the free onesie from this brand that came in my Amazon Baby Registry Box/Benefit. The free onesie wasn’t kimono-style (side snaps), though, just a regular onesie.
These run small (bought newborn size and my baby is a preemie!!) and the seams are rough. At first I actually thought they were inside out – then realized the seams are kind of exposed and rough.
Also, the sleeves are so short you can’t use the built-in mittens.
Wouldn’t recommend it, would return them if I could (unfortunately washed them before trying on baby).

Am opting to buy only organic baby clothes, as I realized the majority of baby clothes I see advertised are made in China, poorly made, wrongly sized with dubious materials. I discovered Moon and Back, made a purchase, and just love the product. My daughter washed and dried them, they remained very soft and possibly shrunk a tiny amount and she loves them. I will be buying Moon and Back from now on!!!

They look nice and are soft, but the sizing is so off. I bought the preemie because our daughter is a peanut. The preemie are the same size as our newborn onesies from carters. In the picture the one of the left is a newborn from carters, the right is the moon and back preemie. Returning as we needed something for her to wear now

Fits my newborn as expected. Length of arms is perfect unlike some other brands I have tried recently. Very soft to touch and material is not at all thin. It’s overall great quality.

Onesies are terrible compared to these. So much easier to put on.

I feel like I’m hurting or fighting with my 6 month old when I put a Onesie over his head. With the kimono you just lay him on top of it, slip in his arms like a jacket, and button the snaps. Game changer for me. He seems more comfortable. Changing diapers is the same as a Onesie.

Good quality material, solid snaps, good fit.

These did shrink some when washed but they do stretch a good amount. My son is 6mth and 18lbs. These fit him good and should fit to 8mths at his current growth (he has been in the 65-70 percentile.)

UPDATE: The onsies shrink when washed. After washing, it was not quite as small as the Gerber “newborn” size. It was about the same size as the H&M (“1-2mo”) onsie. It’s somewhere in-between a Carter’s “newborn” and a Carter’s “3 mo”. It’s also a “wide” onesie. i.e. when it got smaller in the dryer, it only got shorter but the width stayed the same. Also, the black spots came out for the striped onesie. I changed from a 3-star review to 4 stars, since I wonder how much it will continue to shrink with multiple washings, and I’m annoyed that it came with black spots in the first place!

These run large. See photos. I bought the newborn size and it is a bit larger than an H&M “1-2 mo” size, and about the same size/ maybe slightly smaller than a Carter’s “3 mo” size. Compared to a Gerber’s newborn (which fits a 7-8 lb newborn really well for the first few weeks), it’s clearly a lot larger (photo #3). In photo #1, the white Gerber’s “newborn” is on the left and white H&M “1-2 mo” is on the right (this product is in the middle in “newborn” size). In photo #2 this product (“newborn”) is next to a floral Carter’s “3mo” onesie… All for comparison. 🙂

Also, the pink striped one came with black marks on it, despite being packaged in plastic. I tried to get a photo (photo#4) but the spots are much more obvious than what comes through in the photo. I’m hoping they’re just dirt smudges that will come out in the wash. If not, I guess I’ll try to return them?

I was hoping to bring these to the hospital, but for a typical 7-8 lb newborn baby they’ll be too big. I guess maybe I’ll try ordering the preemie size? They are soft and seem well-made.

My favorite onesies so far! When I bought my first set of three I didn’t know that Moon and Back was an Amazon brand – As a first time mom, I was just freaking out at the thought of pulling something over my newborn baby’s head and was looking for the snap up style bodysuits instead. These are great – Super nice and soft and great quality. They have been washed tons and tons of times so far, and still look nice! After my first three in newborn size, I also bought the same ones in 0-3 months as well as a set of white ones in 0-3. Will try the pullover style for when my baby girl gets older.

I’m not really the type of person who writes reviews but I believe this product deserves one.
These bodysuits are just perfect, so soft, warm and well made. They fit nicely leaving room for baby to feel comfortable without being baggy. Easy to put on and take off avoiding the uncomfortable moment of getting it through the baby’s head. I just love the feel of the material and knowing that my baby is comfortable in it. Size 3-6 months fits my 2 months old boy who is 12.8 lbs and 23.5” tall, just fine, not tight not loose, still has some room to grow in it. I’m just happy with my purchase . Well worth the money.
