Cup works awesome. Except after a month it already snapped apart and exposed the inner gel.

I had 3 of these types of cups from all different places and they lasted me for years. Little by little they all broke. That was just errors on my part for dropping them. Unlike all the bad reviews, these will last as long as you take care of it. They are not meant to be dropped at all. That’s why I’m finally buying one because all my other ones broke. The one thing I can agree on is that this didn’t stay cold as long as my older ones. Just like everything else nowadays, quality is always diminishing due to saving the company a few cents and passing on the savings to us. They all suck! But I needed this and it worked all right for the first 3 beers. After that it was just a sweaty cup. Still worth it to help cool drinks when they’re warm, or keep something cold colder.

It’s a great idea and actually worked really well at keeping the beverage cold. Problem is…the gel leaked out of the bottom the very first time I used it, so in the end it is just messy and useless. Too bad

Had ordered looking at host freeze USA sold product (which is much cheaper by the way compared to the generic one sold in UK). Came in cardboard box 2 glasses without any instructions. Looking at other reviews and experiences this NOT dishwasher safe. For hand-wash only. Gel covers lower half of mug and upper half possibly kept chilled due to space in it. Once frozen Gel stays frozen for upto an hour easily at outside temp of 15 degree. Need to see how long it lasts.

I am not a fan if drinking out of plastic glassware. However a friend served me a citrus martini in a Host Martini Glass and I was impressed. The drinking edge is thin so it feels more like drinking out of a regular glass than a typical plastic glass and I did not notice that “plastic odor” I associate with plastic glasswear. I came home from the visit and immediately ordered a set of the pint glasses (that was over four months ago). I am very glad I ordered a set and have been using the glasses daily since I received them. When not in use, I keep the glasses in my freezer (stored horizontally). I wash them and let them dry before putting them back in the freezer. I love how they keep my prechilled beer, Hint Water, and other drinks icy cold, for an extended period of time, without ice cubes diluting beverages. I also love how the glasses quickly chill room temperature bottled water without the use of ice. I recently ordered the stemless wine glasses and have been giving Host Glasses to friends as gifts (I remind them not to put the glasses in the dishwasher!). Everyone loves them and no one has complained about them cracking or breaking or being too heavy! . These are perfect for use in RVs, on patios, around pets, etc…no Broken glass to worry about if one gets knocked over.

Terrible product. I purchased a set as a Christmas gift and both glasses have broken within 2 weeks. They don’t hold up to freezing/being used as advertised. Waste of money!

The concept of these freezer glasses is good, but they are terribly thin and not at all durable. Don’t waste your money. We ordered a pair of these in March 2021 and one of the set delivered with a crack in the actual glass, so was provided with a replacement set. So we had 3 of the four glasses. Within three weeks all three have suffered a crack which led to a leak in the freezing “liquid” that’s contained between the glass. These are very thin and if they take even the ever so slight tumble in your sink they will crack in a major way. We are two adults w/o children, so no dishwasher or child damage was involved with the breaks.
We bought these 16oz Host freezer glasses after enjoying the the glass version of their Martini glass set, which has held up much better than the 16 oz model glasses. It’s as though the glass is so thin on the 16 oz set that it cannot withstand any slight mishandling or tip whatsoever. The thin glass is most fragile near the drink lip and hand washing led to a crack as it appeared the glass made some slight contact with the sink wall and it wasn’t dropped. I do not recommend you purchase these as they are not at all durable, plus they sweat and drip with immense moisture as they “unthaw” when in use.

Had this for some time now and seems to have lasted, I always turn upside down when putting in the freezer and haven’t dropped it, not sure how it would stand up to a hard drop when frozen, saying that it has been knocked about plenty and hasn’t chipped or cracked so is tough enough.

Good glasses and stay cold for a lot longer that ice. Good quality could be a bit cheaper.

Although these were a replacement set they had the same problem as the first set. The plastic rim popped and then separated from the cup. The gel was exposed at the break. Like I said this is the second set so save your money because these don’t work.
