Spring is here and my painting season starts again. Bought a 3L jug of Floetrol to use in my pouring experiment. It turn out great. But this product smell really bad. If you have kids you should reconsider to buy it. It’s kind of clumpy too. I saw it on YouTube you can mix it with water. That will be nice for the product is not cheap. I will try to see if that works.

Just started doing acrylic pouring art and this works great. I use a 3-2-1 mix of Floetrol, acrylic pain, and water. (Use just enough water to get consistency like melted ice cream) And shake well before each use! Glad I bought the large jug, cuz this is way fun to play with.

Box wet due to Floetrol leaking everywhere inside of the box. Disappointed because I really needed this to finish a project. Floetrol is a good product but whoever packed this box did a very pour job. Not enough packing material inside.

I was not able to use the product. This was the second time it was full of granules that dried like grains on my canvas. I strained with stockings, strainer and cheese cloth. Nothing works. The company that produce this product do not have a standard that they adhere to. Won’t be buying this again

I tried out some acrylic pouring today. I used a little bit of silicone pouring oil with it as well. It all worked well. I will definitely purchase more of this whenever I run out. Good bang for the buck.
On further reflection, and using it again, I do have to mention a couple downsides. I wish it was a tiny bit thinner. It doesn’t thin out quite as much as liquitex pouring medium. Keep in mind when choosing colors that this will lighten them up a bit. The gold I used in the last painting ended up a much lighter less gold color. I still love it, but it’s something to bear in mind.

I had been buying the smaller bottles with no issues. Switched to the bigger bottle for price and use. Just used it for the first time and it was all water. Shook it up and it was still water. Ruined all my paint and canvases that I used it on since it was so watery. Now I am stuck with it. Not a happy customer.

I have ordered this 4 times now and every time It’s different. 2 were very clumpy and had to be strained. One was great. This last batch was HORRIBLE!! It had this weird clear liquid on top when I opened it. I had never seen that before. I shook it up in hopes of it being normal to use, but while adding to my paint, I immediately noticed how thin it was. It’s like water! Literally that thin! Not sure if I got a batch batch or what. But this is so bad, I cannot use it. I am returning and fingers crossed I get a goid batch this time. This company REALLY need to learn to be consistent and have a more quality product. I may have to find a new paint medium to use for my acrylic pours.
