The overall look is adorable. It is compact and fits well in the fridge. The spiggot though is somewhat chincy and does not close tight, in my opinion. Also, the filter seems tall and narrow, so when using the Dunkin Donuts cold brew pouches, they do not completely submerge. I ran the water over the bags several times (see picture of lightly colored brown water), and after a day, it was fantastic!! Overall function is great, although the hardware (spiggot) feels a little cheap. This is perhaps a little too rich for my blood, but if cold brew coffee is your thing, you will love it!

Have both the original 1 gallon and this, Cold brew 2.0. Like the smaller size and smaller footprint in the fridge. As the only CB afficionato in the house, finishing 1g it took a while.

LONG REVIEW: Just ignore anyone who struggled with this system. You can train your monkey to use this! Take the screw-on lid off (yes, it screws on so is nice and tight), put coarse ground coffee in the study, metal mesh filter inside the glass jar, pour water over the coffee grounds, screw the lid back on, sit it in the fridge and wait 24 hours for delicious cold brew! This company texted me to see if I got the order, did I like it, and sent instructions and recipes. The glass jar is sturdy (not easily broken) and has a built-in spout that is tight and does not leak. Yes, it sits above the very bottom of the jar so as to not pick up the tiny bits that squeeze through the filter. When the coffee is below the spout, you can tilt the jar, or pour the remaining coffee into another container, then throw the small bit of remaining coffee and sludge away. Thank you Willow and Everett for making my first cold coffee brewing experience a delightful and tasty one! Keep ’em coming as I have a few other people that I want to bless with such an excellent system.
SHORT REVIEW: Buy it. It’s well made and works as advertised.

So what can I say about this. First of all it did/does work and produces great flavour cold brew. That said there are serious quality control issues. First of all the lid just pops off. It seems to screw on properly to a point but don’t ever think it’s like a mason jar. Pick it up by the lid and the lid will pop off and if you’re unlucky the glass will obliterate on the floor. I’ve been lucky. The faucet/tap is awful. Fully open you get a tiny trickle. If you hope (like I did) to fill bottles of cold brew to store in the fridge then each bottle will take an age to fill. That’s not the worst bit. I used mine three times without issues (saving the lid and the tap), when cleaning afterwards I was careful not to use anything on the mesh other than running water. Today I did this and the mesh at the bottom of the filter popped right out when I added the coffee. So the filter is good for nothing now. Useless. I would have hoped for a lot more life than three uses! All in all, for the price I’d heartily recommend that you find something else. This just isn’t worth it for the problems you get with it.

Awesome experience with first cold brew, no experience whatsoever, and was delicious. I was buying cold brew concentrates at the store, which were… okay, but very expensive.
Now I am using whatever coffee suits me, and it’s fresher and tastier. Easy clean up. Seriously, no complaints.

I love that the brew container is short and not to big. I love the look of it snd that it is made of glass. I will be brewing my first cold brew overnight as I just got my Cold Brew on Tap today.

So ya there was some kind of stain under the lid like everyone said but I just cleaned it the best I could and it never went away but…it seemed to not wipe off after I cleaned it so I didn’t worry about it. The filter is very fine so be gentle with it, but I like it over all. Also make sure the tap is right and closed before you fill it with water.

Thanks for sending a coffee jar that leaks. My whole fridge and freezer became full with coffee due to a leaking nozzle. Took us an hour to clean! Nozzle was all the way “locked” but a slow drip filled our fridge throughout the night. Poor design.

It’s dead simple to make and pour. It’s the only way to drink coffee now. I need to buy more so that I can have extra.
